cucumber in vinegar

This recipe requires no cooking and is a great side dish or snack


150 gr cold cucumber cut into 5 cm pieces

A few pieces of red bell pepper

3 cloves of finely chopped garlic

10 pieces deep fried peanuts finely chopped

Dark rice vinegar

Light soy sauce



Chili oil

Sesame oil

Cooking method

  1. 3 tbsp dark rice vinegar, 2 tbsp light soy sauce, ½ tsp salt, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp chili oil, mix together in a bowl and taste adjusting the flavor
  2. Add garlic and few drops of sesame oil and put in the cucumber and bell peppers
  3. Decorate with fried peanuts.
  4. If you have no chili oil, you can use hot chilies chopped into small pieces and mix them with the cucumber
  5. Serve as a side dish
